Over the past months where I was absent from blogging I was certainly not absent from the shops and over the course of a few months (and frequent trips to Bluewater and the occasional trip to London) I accumulated some new make-up bits which are too good to keep to myself.

MAC Whirl lipstick and liner- I am usually a nude lip kind of girl and am a bit scared of wearing anything too bold and noticeable, in need of a change I purchased whirl (a famous one of MAC's colour so you can imagine how hard it was to get my hands on one) which is a perfect colour as it is a bit out there but not too dramatic. Of course it is matte and it does mean the formula is rather drying and I find myself having to whip on the lip balm beforehand but it does leave a very clean look. Some days I just use the liner alone on my lips as I feel this is less harsh then the lipstick and does stay around a lot longer.

BECCA Champagne Pop- I know, I know, you must be sick to deaf of hearing about this highlighter. So I will keep it short  and sweet. Pigmented. Golden. Glow.

NARS Creamy concealer- I use this for under my eyes as it is a perfect colour to brighten under my eyes, a few dots goes a long way with this concealer as it is extremely pigmented and it blends well with my foundation. I usually work it onto my eyelids to use as an eyeshadow primer.

YSL Rouge Vulupt 01-  This is a lipstick I picked up after heavy recommendation from Victoria's (InTheFrow's) blog. I must admit with my tanned skin and blonde hair I don't think the bright pink colour matches my skin but the formula of the lipstick is certainly a winner!

Giorgio Armani Eye & Brow Maestro- I have never really used anything but drugstore products for my eyebrows but this p. I use this with the Bobbi brown eyebrow brush and after brushing through my brows I fill in the parts where I want more fuller brows with the gel. The colour matches (Opal) matches well and leaves a very natural finish.

CHANEL Le Vernis 18- I love a nude nail colour and I can always trust the Chanel nail polishes, it leaves a lovely shine however I think the colour was a bit too much of a light nude :(

Do you have any recommendations of items to pick up over the next few months?
